18 Killed in ***** Disaster***** debris in the auditorium of the "Palmet" cinema, in the American sector of Berlin, September 26 after a roof collapse had killed 18 Germans, seriously injured 9, as they watched the show. The cinema, located on the ground floor of a bombed building, was packed when iron girders from several storeys above crashed through the plastic ceiling, bringing wooden beams with them.
