Unrra Supplies Reach Communists. -- Junks of the large-scale 52-junk convoy carrying 2500 long tons of UNRRA relief supplies for the Communists arrive in Patou where part of the supplies were off loaded on the convoys voyage to Linching. Eminently successful in negotiating the Grand Canal water route from Tientsin to the hard-to-reach Communist zone, the first convoy is being followed by two others, carrying 4000 long tons of relief supplies.
