Home again, well-known veteran Australian actress, Carrie Moor, seemed glad to be back in Australia when she reached Fremantle by the liner Strathaird. Carrie Moore, who is Mrs. J. Wyatt, has been abroad for three years. Carrie Moore Australia's greatest toast of the "champaigne in slipper" era died aged 74 this morning.Bubbing Carrie at 21 was voted the best principal boy in the competitive world of English pantomime.Carrie was recalling those glittering days of curtain calls and bouquets her life story, for which Neville Cardus, the music critic, had promised to write the foreword.
