Anatomy of the prostate. Located at the neck of the bladder, the prostate surrounds the urethra. It produces secretions, contributing to the formation of sperm, which are expelled by the urethra. A dead-end canal, the prostatic utricle, sinks into the thickness of the prostate, it is a vestige of the Mllerian ducts, embryonic ducts at the origin of part of the female genital organs and regressing in men. The region of the prostatic urethra in which the ejaculatory ducts and the prostatic utricle open is called the seminal colliculus. The seminal vesicles participate in the formation of sperm, their secretion is discharged into the urethra via the ejaculatory duct. The Cowper glands or bulbourethral are located in the thickness of the urog 016238_016

Male Urinary Circulatory System

Illustration of the path of sound in the ear. The sound wave captured by the ear's auricle penetrates into the auditory canal, vibrates the tympanic membrane which in turn vibrates the ossicles (hammer, anvil, stirrup). The stirrup's vibrations cause movement in the oval window's membrane which produce hydraulic waves in the cochlea's perilymph, putting pressure on the endolymph within the cochlear duct, displacing the basilar membrane, pushing the stereocilia against the tectorial membrane and producing nervous impulses in the cochlear's nervous fibers. This nervous impulse progresses in the auditory nerve, then from neuron to neuron through the bone marrow until it reaches the auditory cortex in the brain which analyses the data.

A delayed reaction releases leukotrienes and cytokines which causes permanent inflammation. Below the inflammation stimulates the differentiation of lymphocytes into Th2 cells. These promote the proliferation of mast cells and the production of IgE specific for the antigen by the B lymphocytes. Specific immunotherapy reduces the production of IgE by the B lymphocytes and promotes the production of IgG which will neutralize the allergen.
