Sea water is supplied through a pipe in the top in the vessel, heated by overheated steam from the boiler and led by a number of perforated blades, which divide the water and to which the salt precipitation. The steam is discharged to the steam cabinet via the steam drain pipe on the side, the purified water is led downwards to the lower part of the boiler. The sheets can be removed to be cleaned from the precipitated salts.
