Euston's New Signaling SystemPart of £300,000 Scheme of British RailwaysThe lever frame in the new lower-operated signal box at London's Euston Station.The frame, with 227 levers, has taken over the work formerly handled from the old No. 1, 2 and 3 boxes at Euston, and part of that dealt with by No. 4. The new box is part of a £300,000 scheme, the aim of which is to improve traffic working into and out of Euston.Over the levers in the new signal box are the train describers, emergency block bells, telephones and other auxiliary apartments, the whole built into a continuous panel extending the full length of the frame.
