Many Dutch people served in the 2nd W.O. At 322 Squadron of the RAF. She thus put the basis for the post-war KLU. Thanks for the hospitality when it granted and to underlining the friendship bands between the RAF and the KLU, a delegation from the Kon.vereniging "Our Air Force" was offered the framed emblem of 322 Squadron to the RAF club in London. The "Crest" became on behalf of 322 sqn. Offered by Starfighter kite elt.frits Broens. The coat of arms was hung between the emblems of dozens of other famous RAF squadrons in the so-called Hall of Fame. Under the former 322 people were about v.l.n.r.: S.K. Aertsen, K.C. Kuhlman (the first commander of 322), a.j.w. Wijting, J. van Arkel, J.L. Flinterman, Mr.J.bosch and W. de Wolff.
