Southern France Invasion Has its Casualties Too!. You couldn't convince these Allied casualties that the landings on Southern France were "easy" as some observers have declared. They paid the full price of the military venture with broken arms and legs and other injuries. They're shown just prior to transfer to a Coast Guard-manned assault transport for hospitalization.

The second wave of Battalion Landing Zone 2/3 hits the beach at DaNang, Vietnam. The Marines landed without being opposed by the enemy. April 10, 1965.
