The Light Ship - recently invented in England. This one is constructed with four-wing-like projections, proceeding from a central circular deck. The deck itself is protected by an iron bulwark, sloping outward toward the top. Openings are made through the deck to the cabin below. A lightship is a floating lighthouse that provides light and other signals to help guide ships in coastal waters. The first documented lightship was in England in 1731.

On the main deck, from behind forward: a tried pole, a deck light, one of a few chimneys, a covered rise in the middle, and a covered gap, which is now missing on the front deck.
