. Maria stands forward with curved left leg and holds the tilted child slanted to the viewer, the naked child, that she supports his waist and with the left under one leg with the right hand. Maria's hair falls into spirals over shoulders and arms. She is wearing a finely pleated shirt that can be seen at neck and wrists. The keids with sleeves is closed to the right for the chest and is held together by a sash with raised bow. The cloak, to the left, is included under both arms. Between neck and hair holes on either side (for a necklace).
