Gracie Fields And Her Fiance -- Gracie Fields the "Lansic from Lancashire" with her fiance, Abraham Boris Alberovich, of Citades, Territory. Gracie, aged 54, now in Russian plans to her friends at her villa on the Isle of Capri. Her fiance, who is officially listed as being Stateless, has been Capri's radio repair man for many years. He is 48 years old, and was formerly an architect. The wedding will take place either on Capri or in Pompeii in February. Gracie will first become a Roman Catholic. Her first marriage to the late Mr.Archibald Selinger was dissolved in 1940. The same year she married Mario Banchi (Monty Banks, the film director), who died on the Simplon Express while travelling with Gracie to his native Italy in January of last year. December 27, 1951.
