I.W.W. Hall Raided by Mob: Furniture Smashed A smashing raid and a tar and feather party at Los Angeles Harbor followed reports that members of the I.W.W. had spoken in a derogatory manner of the sailors who died in the recent U.S.S. Mississippi disaster. After smashing the furniture and a piano in the hall, the raider kidnapped six of the members, it is said, and took them to a remote spot where tar and feather were applied. This picture shows some of the wreckage outside the hall after the mob had left.
