Meet Pfc. OJ A. Gutierrez, a 19K, or tanker, serving in the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division on Fort Riley, Kansas. Gutierrez, who has been in the Army for one year and two days, currently serves his tank crew as a gunner, in charge of firing the main gun on the Abrams when necessary. Gutierrez loves the 1st Infantry Division and the Army because of the morale and the people in his unit.Its interesting and its fun, Gutierrez said, It has been amazing. Tanking life is awesome.Gutierrez had a message for anyone who was considering joining, Its great here, if you want to join and become a tanker, wed all welcome you with open arms.
