Funeral South Cemetery in Groningen. On Wednesday, October 16, 1940, a serious bus accident took place in Groningen at the train crossing at Ranum between Winsum and Baflo. In addition, thirteen work certificates were killed by life, which were en route to the recording work at the swallows. Nine from thirteen victims were jointly buried on the Groningen Zuiderbegraafplaats on Saturday 19 October 1940. Representative of the National Commissioner for Groningen Dr. C. Conring spoke on behalf of the German authorities. While a wreath was laid by officers of the German weather power. Among those present, the mayor of Groningen was also Mr. P.W.J.H. Cort van der Linden and the Commissioner of the province of Groningen Mr. J. Linthorst Homan.

Admiral Darlan Lies In State -- After his assassination the body of Admiral Darlan was taken to the Government Building, Algiers, where it lay in state on Christmas Day in the grand entrance hall.
