Photo report, made on the occasion of a command transfer at the military complex "Staalduinen" in the Staalthian forest in 's-gravenzande.The monitoring of this military complex was provided by the Air Force Security Corps (LBK) of the Zuid navigation station (NS-Z ), called "Schefferkamp". The LBK also provided the monitoring of the Kunstadarstation Hoek van Holland and the training school.

A marinarian unit, which may leave to Cyprus, assumed the exercio area of the Van Braam Houckgeestkazerne (VBHKAZ) in Doorn. The commander of the Marines, General Major of the Mariniers (Genmajmarns) J.G.M. Nass inspects the unit.

Royal Air Force- France, 1939-1940. The Commanding Officer of No. 73 Squadron RAF, Squadron Leader J W C 'Hank' More (back to camera) having just landed, confers with his pilots outside the Squadron's Operations Building at Reims-Champagne after a series of dogfights with German aircraft. Facing More, in the white roll neck jumper, is Flying Officer E J 'Cobber' Kain. To Kain's right, and slightly behind him, stands Flying Officer N 'Fanny' Orton. The Polish Army in the North-west Europe Campaign, 1944-1945 Dutch farmer with his household goods on a farm wagon looking down on a line of German POWs interrogated by a Lieutenant of the 1st Polish Armoured Division. The photograph was taken after Polish troops captured the Dutch towns of Alphen and Gilza on 27th October 1944 after the Battle of Tilburg and were moving on to Breda.

Eva Braun's Photo Albums, ca. 1913 - ca. 1944. These albums are attributed to Eva Braun (four are claimed by her friend Herta Schneider, nee Ostermeyer) and document her life from ca. 1913 to 1944. There are many photographs of Eva, her sisters and their children, Herta Schneider and her children, as well as photographs of Eva's vacations, family members and friends. Included also are photographs taken by and of Eva Braun at Hitler's chalet Berghof (or Kehlstein), photographs of Hitler and his entourage, visitors to Berghof and the scenery around Berchtesgaden, and some studio portraits of Eva and members of her family.

Royal Air Force Bomber Command, 1942-1945. Maltby and his crew delivered the Squadron's final attack on the Moehne Dam, which successfully breached the dam wall.

Daylight offensive since the war started. Photo Shows: Flight-Sergeant K.B.Chisholm (centre )who brought down one enemy fighter during the afternoon, describes his experiences graphically on his return from the operation. These pictures taken at a righter Command Station in England show the actual scenes as an Australian Fighter Squadron returned after taking part in the greatest daylight operations over enemy occupied territory since the war started. Led by a Plight-Lieutenant -who has many Nazi 'planes to his credit - the Squadron claimed a further six Nazi fighters definitely destroyed with another two "possibles" as their afternoon's work. September 21, 1941.

The War In Korea. The Gloucester's Reach Safety -- Captain Harvey chatting to some of the survivors of the Gloucesters after they had reached safety.Men of the 1st Battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment who, with Northumberland Fusiliers, fought an eighty hours battle against the enemy near the Imjin River, and inflicted heavy casualties before being surrounded, are now safely back with the 29th Brigade.The Gloucester's were surrounded by over 28,000 of the enemy and had to fight their way out against severe opposition. Lt. Colonel Carne and the Battalion chaplain remained with the wounded while Captain Harvey of Portsmouth, led the company out of the trap. June 6, 1951.

Opening District House by A. Mussert; NSB. Mussert greeting the Dutch sser W.J. Heubel during the opening of a district house in Haarlem. He was the brother of fl. Rost van Tonningen, the black widow. From 1941, Heubel served in the SS and in April 1945 in the Netherlands in a fight with the Canadians. Right behind Mussert his adjutant van den Arend.

US Troops in An English Village- Everyday Life With the Americans in Burton Bradstock, Dorset, England, UK, 1944 In the dappled shade of the sycamore tree on the village green at Burton Bradstock, American troops billeted in and around the village examine a machine gun belt which, according to the original caption, was found on the beach by some of the local children. The GIs in this photograph are: Pfc John J Lawson (of 144 Pike Street, Port Jervis, New York), Pfc Robert S Hastings (of 622 Orange Avenue, Azusa, California), T/5 Leo H Pearson (of 105 Buffalo Street, Springville, New York) and Corporal Roland Henry (of 'Walthernmont, Holland, Pennsylvania). Some of the local boys can be seen chatting to the soldiers.
