The Transfer of Authority Ceremony took place on 1 July 2022 at the Powidz Airfield. The 120th RSG accepted the transfer of authority from the 191st RSG of the Puerto Rico National Guard. Eight teams representing major commands and U.S. Space Force faced off in about 20 events showing a wide variety of CE capabilities from emergency airfield lighting and water purification to building a guard shack from the ground up and firefighting and EOD operations.

Marine Corps recruiting stations Kansas City and Des Moines brought more than 40 educators to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego from May 16 to May 20 so they might gain more understanding about the Marine and their recruitment process. The Marine Corps Recruiting Command allows both the Eastern and Western Recruiting Regions to host these workshops once a year for each recruiting station. The goal of the workshop is to allow educators throughout the country to get a peek behind the curtain of how Marines are made and who we are as America's 911 force in readiness.
