These laconic extracts from a fighter pilot's log book of a Korean operation indicate the character of Bill Bennett, a 31 - year - old Australian combat veteran. He was in World War II also and apart from many fantastic adventures-one was crashing a plane through a brick wall at 150 miles on hour - was taken prisoner by the nazis after his Spitfire was shot down.
