After it is constructed, the road will bring stability to the nine villages along its 37 mile long route by easing mobility and encouraging commerce, as well as providing greater access to the Shaikh Mahmood Canal that the road will run parallel to. The canal is the main source of water for the farms nearby.

Virginia Army National Guard  91st Cyber Brigade Commander Col. Rusty McGuire focuses on reviewing the work of the Cyber Protection Teams under his command. Two Cyber Protection Teams validated and a third validated for the first time during Cyber Shield 2022 at the Army National Guards Professional Educational Center on Camp Robinson, Arkansas from June 5-17. Now all 11 National Guard Cyber Protection Teams have validated meeting a Congressional mandate and marking a major milestone in the brigade's 5-year history.  Cyber Shield 2022 is the DODs largest unclassified inter-agency and joint national level training cyber defense exercise which includes representation from 20 states plus Guam.

Day four and five of the QRT training, August 12-13, rigorous physical training continued as obstacles increased with difficulty testing not only their strength but also their capabilities to act as a cohesive squad. Day four, SF Airmen were taught how to respond to an active shooter and/or hostage scenario in the Base Exchange and the base dormitories, as well as extraction of an active shooter in a vehicle. Day five SF Airmen performed combative training and practical exercises. Physical training sessions were themed in memory of the 31 warriors lost in Afghanistan, August 7, 2011, by each volunteer completing 31 of each exercise throughout the course. A QRT member provides immediate response to any high risk situation on Osan Air Base to include barricaded suspects, workplace violence, domestic violence and abuse response, school violence, and disaster response.
