The crew embarked on the aircraft's final flight to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where the jet was inducted as the first Stratotanker in the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The Stratotanker, numbered 60-0329, is recognized as the first refueling platform to be awarded the McKay Trophy in 1967, an honor reserved for aviators who demonstrate the highest skill levels by performing the 'most meritorious flight of the year.

Marine Corps recruiting stations Kansas City and Des Moines brought more than 40 educators to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego from May 16 to May 20 so they might gain more understanding about the Marine and their recruitment process. The Marine Corps Recruiting Command allows both the Eastern and Western Recruiting Regions to host these workshops once a year for each recruiting station. The goal of the workshop is to allow educators throughout the country to get a peek behind the curtain of how Marines are made and who we are as America's 911 force in readiness. Throughout the workshop, educators are given the opportunity to participate in recruit training events such as the rappel tower, live fire rifle range, and sparring using Marine Corps Martial Arts Program techniques-- they are also expected to respond to drill instructors as recruits do and move from place to place in platoon formation. U.S. Army Cadet Command Cadets Matthew Burke, Matthew McCormick, Zachary Angell, and Kenneth Corsetti receive aircraft familiarization at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina, on 27 July 2022. The Army National Guard gives members the opportunity to serve their community, state and nation while pursuing their civilian careers. Idaho Army National Guard Soldiers conducted a flight mission recently on April 28, 2022, and several of the Guardsmen are just part-time Soldiers. Aside from serving their country, pilots 1st Lt. Colton Ankeney is a small business owner making custom camping vans and 1st Lt. Lucas Glauser is a civil engineer. Ankeney joined the Idaho Army National Guard in 2015 so that he could serve in the military without having to leave Idaho. Glauser wanted to become an Army aviator after watching helicopters fight fire near his childhood home, which he got to do himself last summer. The flights crew chief Spc. Brogan Schaeffer is an English teacher at Burley High School.

39th Transportation Battalion is leading from the front! They won two incredibly prestigious awards the Large (39th MCB) and Small (635 MCT) Annual Deployment Excellence Award at the USAREUR-AF level. The awards will be recieved by LTC Rivera and CSM Noid from GEN Cavoli, the commanding general of United States Army Europe. Just recently, the 39th MCB won the Army Award for Maintenance Excellence, which is by no way an easy feat. The 39th MCB continues exceeding all standards, exceling in maintenance, readiness, deployability, all whilst supporting ongoing operations such as Atlantic Resolve!
