Britain's Little Ships' Go Out Again M.T.B's On Biggest Cruise Since War.On their longest cruise since the end of the last World War, and the biggest in the history of the British Royal Navy's Coastal Forces, motor torpedo boats attached to the Second flotilla, with Lieut-Commander Chris Dreyer, D.S.O., D.S.C. in command take to sea where they will go openly to the ports of Flushing, Amsterdam, Wilhelmshaven, Kiel, and Stockholm. It was similar craft to these that ran the blockade during the war to bring back to Britain Swedish ball bearings - and dashed out in attacks on enemy shipping. June 2, 1948.

They present new features in warship construction. The conventional bridge has been taken away, and the hull streamlined. In action practically everyone will be under cover, and them Captain will "Fight" the ship from the Operations room, a periscope giving him all round view of the area round the weasel.
