June is Army Heritage Month. Army Heritage Month activities were conducted to recognize diversity, promote Army values, cohesion, teamwork, and esprit. On 17 June, teams competed for the TAMC Commanders Cup at the company level in flag football, basketball, volleyball, 4x120m swim relay, 10K team race and tug-of war. Over 200 participated in Fridays events - and observed Headquarters Company (Wolfpack) take home the Commanders Cup!

SEATTLE (April 9, 2022) -- Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) midshipmen, officer candidates and Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) members participate in a game of Spikeball during the 2022 Northwest Navy Competition on the University of Washington campus, April 9. More than 250 NROTC students and staff members from the Universities of Idaho/Washington State, Oregon State, Utah and Washington competed in military drill, academic and athletic events at the one-day contest. Northwest Navy has been held on a rotating basis between the schools since 1957. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this was the first time all units were able to compete in person since 2019. Spike Ball is a game similar to volleyball for two teams of two or three players. There is a round net either 36 or 45 inches in diameter that sits eight inches off the ground. The worlds largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring to safety of sea lanes and security on the worlds oceans. PEARL HARBOR (July 1, 2022) U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) play a game of softball with Royal Canadian Navy Sailors during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022. Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, four submarines, more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans. RIMPAC 2022 is the 28th exercise in the series that began in 1971.
