The graywater waste recycling prototype demonstration of the technology utilizes reverse osmosis to treat the water followed by chlorination, recycling water at a 75 - 80% recovery rate, effectively reducing the water resupply requirement in the field. TINIAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (June 17, 2022) Marines, assigned to 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (1MEF), and Sailors, from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, currently assigned Commander, Task Force (CTF) 70 onboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) integrate to conduct a beach assault and airfield damage repair exercise in support of Valiant Shield 2022. Both units conducted tactical insertion methods, with 1MEF executing a helo cast from a HSC-25 MH-60S Sea Hawk, and EODMU5 completing a static line jump from a VRC-30 C-2A Greyhound.
