July 23, 2007 - This Air Force Gun Truck was dedicated at the Air Force Enlisted Heritage Hall, Maxwell Air Force Base's Gunter Annex, Alabama.  The vehicle was decommissioned after an Improvised Explosive Device attack in Iraq that made the vehicle inoperable.

Guardsmen from Arkansas National Guards 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team provided a 2,000-gallons of potable water with a water truck and two water bulls to the Bald Knob School District in White County to support the school while repairs are being made to compromised water pipes. The mission started Sept. 28 and is scheduled to end Sept. 30, unless extended by the Bald Knob School District in White County, Arkansas.Bald Knob School District experienced compromised water pipes. A request for support was routed through White County officials to the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management to Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who approved the Guardsmen being put on state active-duty orders for the duration of the mission.The mission is slated to end Sept. 30, but could be extended by the Governor, if repairs take longer than anticipated.The Arkansas National Guard assumes support roles to augment civil authorities, where needed and directed by the Governor, to help in a crisis.

Soldiers with the Army Reserves 411th Engineer Company load railcars with military vehicles and equipment Nov. 2, 2022, at the rail yard at Fort McCoy, Wis. Overall the company loaded 128 items on to railcars over the multi-day rail movement at the installation to deploy the equipment eventually to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Five personnel with the Fort McCoy Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) assisted with the rail movement and its coordination. The 411th is the latest of many units over the last decade to hold rail movements at Fort McCoy. As a matter of fact, for the many decades of Fort McCoys existence, the capability to transport cargo and equipment to and from the installation by rail has always been there. And its a capability that will continue, Fort McCoy LRC officials said. The soldiers of the 1st DET / 104th BEB (BRIGADE ENG BATTALLION) are completing a two-week operation of training of the unmanned SHADOW UAS drone. This 12 foot drone with a wing span of 22 feet is a fuel base drone that can return photo and video to a base point. The SHADOW is launched from a trailer-mounted pneumatic catapult, it is recovered with the aid of arresting gear similar to jets on an aircraft carrier. Its gimbal-mounted, digitally stabilized, liquid nitrogen-cooled electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) camera relays video in real time via a C-band line-of-sight data link to the ground control station (GCS). This exercise was a Joint Base effort. The unmanned drone was launched at Lakehurst Naval Air Station and was flown over the Fort Dix, NJ Range Complex at Ranges 85 and 61. Fort McCoy Troop Projects Coordinator Larry Morrow with the Directorate of Public Works said the team of 390th Soldiers moved nearly 3,000 tons of dirt to cover an old coal field. The vehicles were off loaded by members of the 837th Transportation Battalion, the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, and the 2nd Infantry Division. The 2-2 SBCT will serve a nine-month tour of duty in Korea, the first for the unit and the 12th iteration overall since the start of the Korea Rotational Force began.

Transportation specialists with the Fort McCoy Logistics Readiness Center Transportation Division and Soldiers with the 107th Support Maintenance Company of the Wisconsin National Guard unload Army vehicles and equipment July 20, 2022, at Fort McCoy, Wis., from railcars on the cantonment area at the installation.
