The United States Womens National Volleyball Team visited the 90th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron at Łask Air Base, Poland to tour the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor and learn about the 90th EFS mission in Poland. The 90th EFS forward deployed in support of NATOs Air Shielding mission to enhance the defense posture on the eastern flank. The USAVWNT competed in the World Championship tournament in a nearby city to the base. Airmen from the 90th EFS and the USAVWNT had the opportunity to support each other during their time away from home.

GREAT LAKES, Il. (June 2, 2022) Educators with Navy Talent Acquisition Group Southwest and Navy Recruiting Command tour Recruit Training Command and Naval Station Great Lakes as part of the Educator Orientation Visit (EOV) to familiarize teachers with different aspects of the Navy. Opened in 1911, NSGL is the Navys largest training installation and the home of the Navys only Boot Camp. Located on over 1600 acres overlooking Lake Michigan, the installation includes 1,153 buildings with 39 on the National Register of Historic Places. NSGL supports over 50 tenant commands and elements as well as over 20,000 Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, and DoD civilians who live and work on the installation.

During your next visit to Lyster Army Health Clinic, you might notice a new display near the entrance dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. Warrant officer candidates of 1st WOCs Pink Class 22-501 Pink Valkyries created the sign to pay to tribute to families and friends whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Throughout October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, patients and visitors will now to be able to see the sign near the front of the Lyster Army Health Clinic. The WOCs relocated the sign to Lyster on October 19 as an initiative to further broaden awareness and provide a visual reminder to talk about breast cancer.
