The final day of the 2022 Army JROTC National Raider Championships saw individual Cadets testing their physical and mental ability in the Ultimate Raider Challenge on November 6. KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Andrew Smith, 361st Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron, flips the tire during day two of the 2011 Afghan Games at the Boardwalk Sept. 10, 2011. During the second workout of day two, participants had to carry water jugs 400 meters, flip tires 50 meters, perform 50 burpees, flip the tire 50 meters and carry a sandbag 400 meters. Afghan Games is an annual Kandahar CrossFit event held to test the physical fitness levels of participants. Smith is deployed from Beale Air Force Base, Calif., and an Elizabethton, Tenn., native.
