Marines in Vietnam decorated an amphibious landing vehicle (LVTP-5) for Santa Claus to distribute gifts to children of a sampan fleet down the Han River, two miles south of Danang. The vehicle was tagged the "Jingle Bell Special" and featured a "Merry Christmas" sign in Vietnamese, along with a slogan on the rear: "Bong-bong. Beat the Cong."
