Parachute Operation In Malaya. First Drop Against Terrorists -- Fifty seven paratroopers of the Special Air Services (Malayan-Scouts) - The first to be used against the terrorists in Malaya - were dropped from Dakota aircraft recently in North Perak.The parachutists landed in the dropping zone in an area of jungle inaccessible by road or river. Some of the men landed in the trees, but were able to lower themselves to the ground by the lengths of rope they carried. Not far from the area in which they were dropped, enemy terrorists are believed to be training in terrorists warfare. The paratroops together with other squadrons of the Special Air Service and members of the Federal Jungle Company, who made their way on foot to the area, are seeking the bide outs of the terrorists.
