Pork - There's Plenty Of It In Germany.Scottish Sergeant Makes Sausages For The Army.Staff-Sergeant James Cameron (left) shows Sergeant-Major Alan Coulter, of South Wales, how accounting is kept of pork sides, which are later used for sausage-making at the Royal Army Service Corps Sausage and Bacon factory at Hamburg. Sergeant-Major Coulter is to relieve Staff-Sergeant Cameron of his duties on April 1st.A strange job for a soldier was given to Staff-Sergeant James Cameron, of Auchmead-road, Nutfield, Greenock, Scotland, and a handful of Royal Army Service Corps soldiers, four years ago. They were given the task of starting a bacon and sausage factory. March 20, 1951.
