The Ship That Found The Sunken Affray Marking The Spot With Buoys -- An serial view today showing the salvage vessel Reglain laying buoys to mark the spot beneath which she found the sunken British submarine Affray, near Hurd Deep, off Alderney, Channel Islands. The submarine is lying 258 feet beneath the surface. It may take days or weeks before divers solve the riddle of how the submarine came to grief with loss of 75 officers and men 59 days ago. The British Admiralty cannot yet decide whether an attempt will be made to salvage the submarine which is resting on the mud in a channel where there are strong tides and weather conditions are bad.
