The ROKs Have A Fighting Navy -- As a modern ROK minesweeper stands out of the port of Busan, an ancient sailing craft stands in.The Republic of Korea has a Navy of approximately 50 ships and ten thousands officers and men. Whatever the ROKs lack in numbers they more than make up for in fighting spirit. Pattern after U.S. Navy organisation, the ROK Navy, man for man ship for ship, compare favorable with any in the world. June 18, 1951. (Photo by Official U.S. Navy Photograph)
