Royal Navy Has A New Silhoutte With Chromium For The Crew - A new destroyer of the Royal Navy, unusual in appearance and incorporating the latest developments in warship design is now at Portland, (Dorset).She is H.M.S. Scorpion (2,000 tons), one of the four now Weapon class destroyers which are being added to the Royal Navy as the 6th Destroyer Flotilla of the Homo Fleet.Scorpion has a strange funnel arrangement, the fore funnel is a long slender stack-pipe rising inside the trollis mast amidships with its cap turning over at an angle of 90 degrees towards the storm.
