The Prison Without Bars -- A room for reading and letter writing in Sudbury prison. Good conduct prisoners at Sudbury, Derbyshire, prison, live a life far removed from that of the usual grim goal. Formerly an American Army hospital, Sudbury is now a minimum security prison holding some 300 men who are all "Star" or first offender prisoners - later a selected minority of men who have already been to prison will gradually be introduced.
