Here's A Harbour Headache -- The Olympic Splendour may be the pride and joy of millionaire ship owner Aristotle Onassis, but to Fremantle Harbour authorities it's just a headache. The whaling tanker on its maiden voyage, is so modern, so big, that they can't berth it without disrupting other ships. So the Olympic Splendour today was bustled out to Gage Roads by FHT tugs. There it will have to cool its hull until March 7. The big tanker is carrying £1,500,000 worth of whale oil. With other ships of the Onassis fleet, it was recently chased ignominiously from Peruvian waters. March 8, 1955.

Great Clyde Towing Feat -- Towed by eight tugs, a 42,000-ton floating dock with the former German battle cruiser "Derfflinger"- recently salvaged from Scape Flow - aboard, was yesterday taken up the Clyde to Faslane to the breaking-up yards.
