January 28, 2005, on the speech at Den Helder on board HR MS Tjerk Hiddes. © Koninklijke Marine / Jens Grijpstra Hr.MS Tjerk Hiddes returns Friday (January 28) in the Marinehaven van den Helder. This emerges its commitment to the surgery Enduring Freedom to an end. The multi-purpose frigate left for the region around the Arabian peninsula in September 2004. The ship made a contribution to the international fight against terrorism in the context of the operation Enduring Freedom. The Tjerk Hiddes carried out observations and collected information about shipping traffic in the region.
