Soviet Leaders In New Delhi -- On November 18th, 1995, Marshal Bulganin, the Soviet Prime Minister, and Mr.Krushchev, First Secretary of the Russian Communist Party, arrived at Delhi airport to begin a formal visit to India. The following day the Soviet leaders looked over the Jantar Mantar Observatory; they are seen here entering the grounds, accompanied by high officers of the Indian Army. Marshal Bulganin is in the centre, with Mr. Krushchev on his left. On the right of the Soviet Prime Minister is the Russian interpreter who was replaced by an Indian diplomat who had served in Moscow when it was found that the Russian spoke too archaic a form of Hindi to be easily understood.
