Reportage on the daily life of Oscar, a 3 and a half-year old boy who has type 1 diabetes. Oscar has a glucose sensor and insulin pump. He started nursery school this year. His parents had to train the schools personnel in how to control and regulate his blood sugar levels throughout the day. Oscars teacher scans his sensor to check his blood sugar levels.

Reportage on art therapy in Ham hospitals long-stay unit, France. Art therapy sessions are carried out in the Adapted Care and Activity Hub (Pôle dActivités et de Soins Adaptés - PASA). This hub cares for patients with behavioural disorders and provides them with an individual or group therapy activity in order to maintain or rehabilitate their motor, cognitive and sensory functions as well as social ties. The art therapist attaches great importance to self-esteem. She considers that touch, contact and considerate gestures are vital for the success of the workshops.

Reportage on Elsa, 10, who has been deaf from birth and wears bilateral cochlear implants. Her deafness was detected when she was 10 months old and she had implants for the first time when she was 17 months and then again at 3. She said her first word when she was 22 months old. She went to a school for the deaf, then she started at regular school when she was 5. Twice a week, Elsa has the help of a cued-speech signer, who enables her to understand her teachers properly, perfect her pronunciation, particularly when learning foreign languages.
