Design for a Pendant with IHS Monogram 1609 Master P.R.K Dutch This finely wrought pendant was designed by the Dutch goldsmith known as the Master P.R.K. It consists of fine openwork with an IHS monogram in the middle. The fact that this part is executed in blackwork indicates that it was meant to be executed in enamel. Three pearls are attached to the bottom of the pendant. The goldsmith also added small quirky details to his design, like the monkeys with musical instruments and the two rabbits below. In the lower left and right corners of the sheet, two small scenes are depicted: on the left a man using a bird of prey to hunt, and on the right a man who is fishing. The pendant is hanging from a ribbon and has a round central compartment which is filled with square, faceted precious stones and a flower pattern in enamel. Fine openwork made up out of Schweifwerk surrounds the compartment. Designs for Four Rings, Plate 35 from 'Livre d'Aneaux d'Orfevrerie' 1561 Pierre Woeiriot de Bouzey II Small oval print with designs for four rings with a stone set in the center. The rings at the top and right show a shallow cut gemstone with a wide table, while the left and lower ring are set with the culet up. Two rings are presented as seen from the front and two are presented in side view. The plate, numbered 35, is part of a book of forty designs for rings by the goldsmith and engraver Woeiriot, published in Lyon (France) after Woeiriot returned from a visit to Rome. The French edition, titled 'Livre d'aneaux d'orfévrerie de l'invention de Pierre Woeiriot Lorrain', appeared in 1561.
