Benches offer visitors a peaceful sitting area at the Tygart Dam day-use area in Grafton, West Virginia. The Tygart Lake reservoir is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District to provide flood-risk mitigation and water control services for the Tygart River Valley and the Monongahela and upper Ohio rivers. Additionally, the recreation areas near the dam offer residents and visitors the opportunity to boat, camp, hike, and picnic near the reservoir.

All four of team KuuKulgur's robots are seen as they attempt the level one challenge during the 2014 NASA Centennial Challenges Sample Return Robot Challenge, Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Mass. Eighteen teams are competing for a $1.5 million NASA prize purse. Teams will be required to demonstrate autonomous robots that can locate and collect samples from a wide and varied terrain, operating without human control. The objective of this NASA-WPI Centennial Challenge is to encourage innovations in autonomous navigation and robotics technologies. Innovations stemming from the challenge may improve NASA's capability to explore a variety of destinations in space, as well as enhance the nation's robotic technology for use in industries and applications on Earth.

An area where Fort McCoy archaeology team members with the Colorado State Universitys (CSU) Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands who works in partnership with the Fort McCoy Directorate of Public Works Environmental Division Natural Resources Branch (NRB) were looking for artifacts during an archaeological survey July 14, 2022, is shown on South Post at Fort McCoy, Wis. For several weeks in July, Fort McCoy archaeological team members with NRB and CSU held a special archaeological survey and dig on South Post. The team did their survey in the South Post Housing Area, which also happens to be the oldest areas of the installations origins where Camp Robinson and Camp Emery-Upton once were located. In the actual location of the survey, however, the team was looking at areas around old concrete tent pads that were once part of Camp Robinson.
