Photo album of the English family Cheetham with recordings of their stay in Russia. Photo album consisting of seven unbound cardboard album blades, a back tray and a separate photo set up on cardboard. Bandrug and Voorplat are missing. The glorified photos document the stay of the English engineer Joseph Cheetham, who lived with his family in 1903 in Russian Sereda. He was probably working as an engineer in a weaving. The album shows portraits of Cheetham itself and his wife Mrs. Cheetham-winter, their daughter and of English friends who visited. In addition, there are recordings of the place Sereda, factories, from Russian workers and street scenes. The city of Nizhniy Novgorod is also in the picture.
