The British Empire comprised the dominions, colonies, protectorates, mandates and other territories ruled or administered by the United Kingdom. Crowd Shouts Adenauer Go Home: A copy of one of the leaflets that were thrown when Dr. Adenauer arrived at No. 10 downing street this morning. A large crowd gathered in downing street this morning in preparation for the arrival of Dr. Adenauer, the Federal German Chancellor, at No. 10. The chancellor was invited to a luncheon given by the Prime Minister and attended by members of all political parties in Parliament. When Dr. Adenauer arrived there were shouts of Adenauer Go Home and Heil Hitler from a section of the crowd and a number of young men threw leaflets.
