OKeefe and NASA Associate Administrator of  Space Operations Mission Directorate William Readdy are visiting KSC to survey the damage sustained by KSC facilities from the hurricane. On May 25, 2022, NEX San Diego cut the ribbon to officially open its Mariner's Park gas station/ mini mart.  The 6,500 sq. ft. store offers a wide assortment of grab and go hot food while the gas station features free flowing gas lanes and 28 pumps as well as a level 3 electric charging station.
