He is accompanied by Chantal, a specialised snoezelen enabling practitioner. These snoezelen rooms allow autistic people to develop other means of communication, and to create a privileged relationship with the carer as well as stimulating the senses. This padded snoezelen room is entirely white and allows calm to return. The bubble columns are laid out in a triangle so the patient feels surrounded.
