Rehearsing For June In January -- The Band leads the Household Cavalry during rehearsal on the Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall, London, today.The trooping of the Colour ceremony in celebration of the King's birthday next June will have some of its pre-war brilliance, for the Household Cavalry is to take a prominent part in the march past once again. Since 1937, the Cavalry has had no part in the actual trooping. After escorting the King from Buckingham Palace to the Horse Guards Parade, they moved off. January 30, 1950.
