Job (Hebrew: , Arabic: Ayyub) is the central character of the Book of Job in the Hebrew Bible. Job is also recognised as a prophet of God in the Qur'an. The Book of Job begins with an introduction to Job's character. He is described as a blessed man who lives righteously. God's praise of Job prompts Satan to challenge Job's integrity and suggesting that Job serves God simply because he protects him. God removes Job's protection, allowing Satan to take his wealth, his children, and his physical health in order to tempt Job to curse God. Despite his difficult circumstances, he does not curse God, but rather curses the day of his birth. And although he protests his plight and pleads for an explanation, he stops short of accusing God of injustice. Most of the book consists of conversations between Job and his three friends concerning Job's condition and its possible reasons, after which God responds to Job and his friends. The characters in the Book of Job consist of Job, his

The 1913 caption reads: "Loki took the form of a woman and hastened to the mansion of Frigga." The goddess Frigga, also spelled Frig, was the highest-ranking of the Aesir goddesses. Her husband was Odin, the chief god. She was also the mother of Baldur. Loki, the impish trickster of the Norse pantheon, disguised himself in the form of a woman and approached Frigg (seen here) and asked her whether all things had sworn oaths never to harm Baldur. Not knowing the womans true identity, Frigg conceded that she had not demanded the oath from a humble sprig of mistletoe.

The Tacuinum (sometimes Taccuinum) Sanitatis is a medieval handbook on health and wellbeing, based on the Taqwim al-sihha ('Maintenance of Health'), an eleventh-century Arab medical treatise by Ibn Butlan of Baghdad. Ibn Butln was a Christian physician born in Baghdad and who died in 1068. He sets forth the six elements necessary to maintain daily health: food and drink, air and the environment, activity and rest, sleep and wakefulness, secretions and excretions of humours, changes or states of mind (happiness, anger, shame, etc). According to Ibn Butln, illnesses are the result of changes in the balance of some of these elements, therefore he recommended a life in harmony with nature in order to maintain or recover one’s health. Ibn Butln also teaches us to enjoy each season of the year, the consequences of each type of climate, wind and snow. He points out the importance of spiritual wellbeing and mentions, for example, the benefits of listening to music, dancing or ha
