Military insurrection led by James II of Urgel (1380-1433) against King Ferdinand I of Aragon (1380-1416), as a result of the disagreement in the Compromise of Caspe over the election of the successor to the King of Aragon Martin I the Humane. Siege of Balaguer (July-October 1413). James II confined himself to Balaguer, whose troops were led by Ramon Berenguer de Fluvià while awaiting English help. Slaughtering the sperm whale stranded between Zandvoort and neighborhood by the sea, 1762; Dealing the Cageelotvis on the Feb 20. Anno 1762. Driven on the beach between Wyk at sea and Zantvoort. An on February 20, 1762 on the beach between the spot whale (Cachelot) coiled on the beach between Wijk by Zee and Zandvoort is decomposed and processed by a group of men. Men with chopping knives and axes are on the sperm whale to cut the bacon and tapping the brain. On the right, men pull a rope to pull the bacon off the animal. Behind them there is a wind axle for the same goal. The bacon is loaded on ready carts. Two men grind their knives on the left. The print is provided with a legend 1-14 with an explanation of the work.

Peninsular War (1808-1814). In January 1814, the French garrisons in the towns of Lerida, Mequinenza and Monzon were evacuated. This was a plot hatched by Generals Juan Van Halen and Baron d'Eroles (Joaquin Ibanez Cuevas y de Valonga, 1785-1825), among others, who forged documents ordering the French to leave these places, feigning an agreement between Suchet and the Spanish generals. They would be allowed to return to France. The French were finally captured at Martorell. A large part of the captured troops were moved to Saragossa by order of the Regency. Baron de Eroles takes the French prisoner at Martorell (province of Barcelona, Catalonia). "Glorias Espanolas" (Glories of Spain). Volume IV. Published in Barcelona, 1890.
