ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 9, 2018) Sailors raise a rigid-hull inflatable boat aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87). Mason is part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group cruiser-destroyer (CRUDES) units completing the first east coast CRUDES Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
