Reconditioning World's Largest Linear -- Commodore Sir James Bisset on the bridge of the "Queen Elizabeth".The 83,675 ton linear "Queen Elizabeth" is due to make her maiden voyage on October 16th., this year, although at the moment she is still being reconditioned at Southampton. Her fittings include of wood from the plane tress of London squares others made from the piles of the old Waterloo Bridge and either work from the hides of 1,500 British cattle. Von Paulsen of Miami, Florida stands at the wheel of a Coast Guard-manned assault transport, the spaniel finds a perch close by so he can keep an intelligent eye on the workings of the big transport.

Royal Airplanes For South African Tour -- Zoe Jenner, a Viking hostess, sitting in the Queen's seat in the Queen's plane at Wisley today. The seat itself incorporates a parachute, whish with its harness forms part of the upholstery. The King's Flight for his South African tour was photographed for the first time today at Wisley, Surrey. It consists of four Vickers-Armonstrong twin-engine Vikings, each with a crew of six. The cabins have been sound-proofed, and interior colors have been chosen
