A look at some of the items that were dropped off by Kennedy Space Center employees at the Florida spaceports “America Recycles Day” event in the Vehicle Assembly Building parking lot on Nov. 13, 2019. Kennedy partnered with Goodwill Industries and several other organizations to put on the annual two-day event. A second collection day took place near the Kennedy Learning Institute. This year, employees accounted for 211 drop-offs, totaling approximately 5,500 pounds.
