Queen's Australian Tour Pilot Arrives - Squadron leader J.G. Cornish, 31, Royal Australian Air Force, who will fly the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on their Australian tour next year, is seen as he arrived at London Airport, this afternoon, June 29th.Sqdn. Ldr. Cornish, who flew in the 1948 Berlin Airlift, arrived to spend two months is England "Studying procedure for Royal Flights." He will pilot the queen and the duke on 28 of their 35 flights in Australia, covering 10,000 miles. His aircraft will be one of several V.I.P Dakotas used by the R.A.A.F. July 07, 1953.
