In his latest all-pxftoon Technicolor feature, "Cinderella," which RKU Radio is releasing, Walt Disney uses a new technique in drawing human beings. Long seeking some way of imparting to human characters the. Same fluidity of line and subtlety of expression for his birds and animals are famous, Disney found the answer in using live models.In "Cinderella" he filmed living actors in key scenes. These films were then used as guides by the artists in creating the cartoon characters. The result is a tremendous gain in illusion. Accompanying photographs illustrate the new Disney technique.Eighteen-year-old Helen Stanley, the model for Cinderella, serves the breakfast, does the washing etc., for the benefit of Disney Artists.
